Formerly a charming stone stable and almost 200 years old, this delightful home has been renovated to an impeccable standard, combining its historic allure with contemporary elegance.

The Space

Step into your extraordinary living quarters at Cushendall Stables and be enchanted by its unique blend of charm and quirkiness. Nestled within the walls of a former stables, your cosy haven boasts two bright and airy rooms upstairs. Prepare your favourite meals in the fully equipped kitchen, where you'll find everything you need to unleash your culinary prowess - and feel free to test yourself outside on the barbecue!

Relax and unwind in the living area, complete with a 47" TV featuring an Amazon Firestick and access to Netflix and Prime, allowing you to indulge in your favourite shows and movies. Stay connected with superfast broadband, ensuring you have seamless internet access throughout your stay.

The bathroom is a true oasis, with a walk in shower, as well as vanity and modern fixtures. We have electric smart heating to always maintain a comfortable temperature whatever the weather. We have also provided a washing machine, a dishwasher, coffee, tea, soaps, shampoos, hair dryer and everything you could need to get going on arrival. As you explore the space, take in the captivating irregularities of the charming walls, the large original hay loft bedroom window and the old stable door, a testament to the rich history and personality of this remarkable accommodation.

Private Outdoor Area

Prepare to be captivated by the charm of our private enclosed yard with our summer flower beds and vegetable and herb patch. Here, you can unwind in our comfortable outdoor seating area, among the aroma of lavender and sweet pea - perfect for savouring a morning coffee or relishing a delicious barbecue feast. A stunning hot tub is also available under the beautiful fairy lights of our Babylonian pergola (an optional extra charged separately at £40 per evening).

For the adventurous souls, the yard is enclosed and secure to store bikes, with accessible step-free entry onto the neighbouring alleyway - allowing you to explore the stunning landscapes of County Antrim on two wheels just like when the famous Giro D’Italia Race passed through town back in 2014!

Bedrooms

Each of our two bedrooms have their own unique allure. The larger king room retains the original hay loft window overlooking the garden, whilst the double room’s somewhat quirkier shape is a throw back to the hand built heritage of bygone times. In our bedrooms we provide all the necessities including; a hairdryer, double wardrobe space, a dressing table, mirrors, washing baskets, ambient lighting, convenient charging points, individually adjustable heaters, luxurious bed linen, towels and bath robes.
